Good place to learn boot ball and that’s about it.
I’d probably give 1.5 stars if I could. As a mom with 40 years of playing experience, many at a high level, at first I was impressed with pride, granted we were coming straight from rec ball and a futsal team that was very poorly ran. Now, I realize that their “professional coaches” only have the grassroots certification from usys which is the minimum required to coach youth soccer in this country. Additionally, many have never played before or only played in high school. Watch one of their teams and you will see that the kids clearly are not taught any of the basics such as how to trap the ball, how to look around to see how much time you have before you need to get rid of the ball, when to dribble, when to shoot, how to take a ball out of the air, when to pass to feet or space, let alone any type of creativity with the ball or switching up the point of attack. I have become increasingly frustrated watching my kids’ teams play wondering what on earth they work on at practice and wondering why on earth I am paying these exorbitant fees. My son is clearly the most skilled player on the “b” team and I was pretty sure he would make the “a” team at tryouts this past fall, but instead they passed him over for a larger kid who has no finesse with the ball but he can kick the ball much farther. Not that the “a” team is much better than the “b” team. I spent time watching them play during out last tournament and they have the same problems. I’d love to take my kids to a club nearby that will actually teach them to play but unfortunately, my ex husband won’t allow it because he likes the “small town” feel of the club and that the practices and such are close to his house.
